It’s Taking Time — But That Doesn’t Mean It’s Not Working

We live in a world obsessed with quick fixes. Fast results. Instant wins.

An nowhere is that more prevalent than when it comes to our money!

When it comes to money, the truth is often less glamorous and a lot more real:

Transformation takes time.

I came across a quote recently that really stopped me in my tracks:

“Just because it’s taking time, does not mean it is not working.”

People ask:

“Why does it feel like I’m not making progress?”
“I’m being more conscious, journalling, tracking my money — but nothing’s changing!”

Here’s what I always say:

The shift doesn’t happen in one big moment. It happens in all the little ones you think don’t matter.

❤️When you choose not to overspend.
❤️When you check your account even though it’s uncomfortable.
❤️ When you pause before an impulse buy.
❤️ When you set a financial goal, even if you don’t know exactly how you’ll reach it yet.

That is progress.

Just because you don’t see the results immediately doesn’t mean they’re not coming. Trust the process and enjoy the ride!

Like planting seeds — the roots grow long before you see the bloom.

So if you’re building new money habits, if you’re doing the inner work, if you’re showing up for yourself — keep going.

Be patient. Be kind to yourself. Stay committed.

Because the truth is, the work you’re doing is working.

And your future self is going to thank you for not giving up.
